Grazing Buffalo is an original photograph by Dyle Warren.
In the early 1900's, all wood bison in British Columbia were killed out. Since their reintroduction in 1995 it is easy to spot them grazing along the Alaska Highway in northeast British Columbia near Fort Nelson, Canada.
This bison is most likely part of what is known as the Nordquist Herd made up of approximately 120-150 individuals. It is one of only two herds In B.C., the other herd is known as the Etthithun Herd.
